Male Ethnic Revision
Rhinoplasty Patient #3:
40 year old patient who underwent a previous rhinoplasty procedure with another surgeon and complained he was unable to see any results or change after that surgery. He wanted correction of a wide nasal bridge, fatty bulbous tip and wide nostrils. Dr. Slupchynskyj performed an Open Rhino Surgery where his custom carved silastic implant was placed to augment and refine the nasal dorsum. Bilateral osteotomies narrowed and refined the nasal bridge. Nasal Surgery included defatting of the tip and narrowing of the nostrils from a vertical and horizontal dimension. Cartilage strut and shield grafts were used to further enhance and support the tip. Post operatively, patient is extremely happy with his rhinoplasty results, which also preserved his African-American features.
