Female Ethnic Rhinoplasty Patient #26:
26 year old complaining of a wide and low nose with lack of tip definition. Patient underwent Dr. Slupchynskyj's African-American Ethnic Rhinoplasty Surgery which included placement of the custom carved silastic implant for bridge augmentation. The nasal tip was defatted of excess tissue and was then re-supported and restructured using a vertical dome division technique and cephalic strip. Cartilage shield and strut grafts were placed to further define, support and improve tip function. A vertical and horizontal nostril narrowing technique was performed to reduce alar width. Post operatively this patient is very happy with her results and the preservation of her ethnic features. |
