Female Ethnic Rhinoplasty Patient #3:
22 year old complained of a nasal dorsal hump poor definition of her tip and slightly wide nostrils. An African-American Ethnic Rhinoplasty technique was performed where the SLUPimplantTM, was placed in her dorsum for augmentation of the nasal dorsal bridge. Refinement of the nasal tip was performed by defatting the nasal tip structures and adding a cartilage strut and shield graft to re-support, rotate and further define the tip. A mild reduction of the alar width was performed using a horizontal narrowing technique. Results show a more aesthetically pleasing nasal dorsum and tip structures. |
