Female Ethnic Rhinoplasty Patient #5:
22 year old requested refining of the nasal dorsum, narrowing of her nostrils and definition of her nasal tip. She underwent Dr. Slupchynskyj's African-American Ethnic Rhinoplasty Surgery technique where the reduction of the nasal bones was performed using a rasp and cartilage shave technique with bilateral osteotomies. The nasal dorsum was redefined using a custom carved silastic implant, the SLUPimplanTM, to raise the bridge slightly and give more definition to the dorsum. The tip was restructured using a cartilage shield and strut graft to further define the nasal tip. Nostril width was reduced through a vertical and horizontal narrowing technique. |
